Obsession Du Jour: adidas Originals Tubular X 2016 Primeknit Collection

Throw in the chill pills for this season's footwear obsession du jour as adidas Originals Tubular X's latest design featuring the signature Primeknit upper collection is now available.

The newest Tubular X designs are rendered in the signature Primeknit upper and offered in three neutral colorways: Core Black, Midnight Navy, and Sesame.

The build features luxurious Primeknit fabrications in tonal fashion, creating a trio of colorways inspired by the style capitals of Milan, Paris and London.

All three are finished with leather and nubuck overlays in neutral black, sand and navy hues, conferring a sophisticated touch to the eye-catching midtop.

The mid-top runner is characterized for its patterned Primeknit upper that provides a sock-like fit, and features a two-toned, dual-density ridged EVA sole, and matching tonal laces.

Subtle adidas Trefoil branding is embroidered onto the heel counters.

The adidas Originals Tubular X Primeknit collection is now available for purchase through select adidas Originals retailers and online at shop.adidas.com.ph.

Adidas Originals Launched Supershell “Sculpted” Collection x Pharrell Williams

After a successful artist-collaborated “Supershell” collection, Pharrell Williams and Adidas Originals are back to launch “Sculpted” iterations of the imaginative sneaks.

The Superstar’s Shelltoe release comes alive with four commissioned artists—NYC contemporary artist Todd James, British-Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid, U.S. photographer and director Cass Bird, and Japanese contemporary artist Mr. ©Mr./Kaikai Kiki Co.—who lend their respective artworks into specially-molded 3D Shelltoe designs, a first for the Superstar silhouette, which are then topped off with two of Pharrell’s own personal designs.

Offered in monochromatic black and white colorways, the artsy kicks allow for countless opportunities to mix n’ match.

With a limited release and exclusive designs for different regions around the globe, the footwear is offered in black and white colourways, with a different graphic treatment for the left and right shoes.

The “Sculpted” collection will see a global release on August 7.
